“Scialla Motor Scooters did an amazing job restoring this 1965 VBC Super. I was a little hesitant at first about buying a scooter from Vietnam, but after going through the reviews and all the information on their website, I felt much more comfortable moving forward. Brian and his team did an incredible job, the attention to detail and quality of the restoration really exceeded my expectations. They also kept me updated throughout the whole process, which made the experience really easy. I'd definitely consider buying another scooter from them down the road.”

David Carter

“Really happy with this vintage Lambretta. The quality of the restoration is seriously impressive. It was shipped in a very solid crate and arrived in perfect condition. After watching their step-by-step video, I followed the instructions and the bike actually started on the first kick. Couldn't be happier with it.”

“Scialla Scooters made the whole process of finding a restored Vespa so much easier. I really enjoyed being able to choose the color and options, and Brian and his team kept me updated along the way, so I always knew what was going on. The attention to detail on my Vespa is incredible, and they've continued to be helpful even after the restoration was finished. I also love the vintage Vietnam license plate that came with my 1963 Vespa GS. Such a cool little detail. Thanks again to Brian and the team for making the whole experience so enjoyable!”

Michael Reynolds

“This was our first scooter purchase from Scialla Scooters, and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. The website was easy to use, and Brian kept us updated from start to finish. When the scooter arrived, it actually looked even better than it did in the pictures. It rides great, it's a lot of fun, and we're already talking about getting another one.”
06 United Kingdom

Richard Bennett

“Another cracking scooter from Scialla Scooters. The 1966 LI Special 150 has been restored beautifully, with the stainless steel and chrome really setting it off. The standard of the work is first class throughout. Many thanks to Brian for all the care, skill and attention that has gone into bringing this one back to life.”

“I bought a 1962 Vespa from Scialla Scooters last year and, overall, it was a very good experience. Brian and his team were clear about the purchase, shipping, and transport from the beginning, and the scooter itself was restored beautifully. The one thing I would mention to anyone buying from California is the registration process. The DMV wanted the original title transfer paperwork from Vietnam, which turned into a bit of a headache. I eventually got it sorted out with a Surety Bond. If I were doing it again, I'd take care of that part ahead of time. That little paperwork issue aside, I absolutely love the Vespa. It looks fantastic, runs great, and I'm very happy I went through with the purchase.”

“I'm absolutely delighted with my 1967 Lambretta SX200. Brian was brilliant from the start and made the whole process very straightforward. What I've particularly appreciated is that he hasn't just disappeared after the sale, we're still in touch several months on. The scooter itself is fantastic. It runs beautifully and gets plenty of attention whenever I take it out. I honestly didn't expect to be thinking about another one so soon, but I'm already looking at what I might add to the collection next!”

Thomas Walker

“I went with a Tiffany Blue 1964 Vespa VBB with the sidecar, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Brian kept me in the loop the whole time with photos and videos of the restoration and testing, which was great since I was halfway around the world. When the scooter arrived, it looked even better than I had hoped. I did have a small issue with one of the light fixtures, but Brian took care of it right away and sent out a replacement without any hassle. The Vespa is beautiful, the buying experience was easy, and the after-sale support has been excellent. I'm really glad I went with Scialla.”

“When I finally opened the crate, I was honestly blown away. The attention to detail on the 1967 Vespa was better than I expected, and all the extras I had asked for were installed perfectly. From the first conversations with Brian right through to delivery, everything was handled professionally and without any drama. The scooter is absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Thanks again, Brian. Great work!”

Rachel Thompson

“Absolutely thrilled with our 1963 Vespa GS 160. A huge thank you to Brian and everyone at Scialla Scooters for making the whole experience such a pleasure. From my very first conversation with Brian, I had a good feeling that we were dealing with people who genuinely cared about what they do. That feeling was certainly confirmed when the scooter arrived. The level of detail in the restoration is just incredible, and it honestly surpassed what we were expecting. I also loved the little extras that came with it, the rubber floor mat, cover, spare parts kit and the lovely old-style owner's manual. Those small touches really made it feel like someone had thought about the whole ownership experience, not just the scooter itself.”

“Quite simply, I couldn't recommend Scialla Scooters highly enough. If you're looking for a properly restored Lambretta, I'd say speak to Brian and his team. I've had my 1964 SX200 for two years now and it has been an absolute joy. The restoration is superb, it runs beautifully, and I still get a smile on my face every time I take it out. Sadly, I'm getting on a bit now and I don't think another Lambretta is on the cards for me. If I were a few years younger, though, I'd be ordering another one without hesitation. Thanks, Brian. You've done more than restore an old scooter, you've given me a lovely way to revisit a bit of my youth.”

Andrew Collins

“I'd just like to say a big thank you to Brian and the whole team for the fantastic job they've done on my 1964 GS160 Vespa. The quality of the restoration is excellent, and the whole process of getting the scooter imported and delivered to Auckland was remarkably straightforward. Everything was handled properly and exactly as expected. Brian also kept me well informed throughout the restoration, which I really appreciated. There's a lot of pride and care in the finished scooter, in fact, it looks so good I almost feel guilty taking it out on the road! Very happy with the purchase and very grateful to everyone involved.”

“Hi Brian, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the whole team for doing such a wonderful job on my 1967 Vespa VBC. I've named her Bella, and she really is a beauty. She was a 50th birthday present, so she was always going to be something pretty special. I was lucky enough to visit the workshop while I was in Vietnam and actually see her in person on my birthday, which made the whole experience even more memorable. She's now home here in Queensland and has been through all the roadworthy and safety checks and is fully registered. Everywhere I take her, people stop to have a look or ask about her. She certainly gets plenty of attention! I also really appreciate how helpful Brian has been whenever I've had a question, even after the scooter arrived. If you're thinking about buying from Scialla Motor Scooters, I'd have no hesitation recommending them. Go for it - you won't be disappointed!”

“After being away from scootering for nearly 50 years, I finally decided it was time to get back on one. I spent quite a while looking around and reading what other owners had to say before settling on Scialla Scooters, and I'm very glad I did. This was my first scooter from Brian and his team, and I have to say it has surpassed anything I was expecting. The attention to detail in the restoration is exceptional. It really is a beautiful machine. The buying process was straightforward from start to finish, and the shipping went very smoothly as well. For a purchase from so far away, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm extremely pleased with the scooter and very grateful to Brian and everyone at Scialla for all their hard work. Thank you.”

“We ordered two VBB Vespas from Brian and everything went very well. The shipping was organised without any problems and both scooters arrived in good condition. We are very happy with the restoration work. The scooters look great and so far we have not had even a small problem with them. You can see that the team put a lot of work into the details. We are very satisfied with our VBBs and already looking forward to ordering another one next year.”

“I purchased a 1964 Vespa APE from Scialla and honestly, it turned out even better than I expected. The scooter is absolutely beautiful, the restoration is first-class and it looks like something you'd see sitting in a museum or at a serious vintage show. Brian was great to deal with from beginning to end. He was professional, responsive, and just as helpful after the sale as he was before it. If you've been thinking about owning a classic Vespa, I'd have a hard time recommending anyone else. I'm extremely happy with mine and wouldn't hesitate to buy from Scialla again.”

Richard Lawson

“It was really enjoyable being able to follow the scooter through the different stages of the restoration. Watching the 1951 Faro Basso come together was half the fun. When it finally arrived in New York, the finished scooter was absolutely beautiful. The green looks fantastic in person, and the quality of the work really shows. Thanks to Brian and the team for all the help and communication throughout the process. It was a great experience from start to finish.”

Thomas Reed

“I'll admit I was pretty skeptical at first. I ended up putting down a deposit on a 1963 GS 150, and since I travel to Asia from time to time, I decided to make a trip over to Vietnam to see the scooter for myself and meet Brian. I'm glad I did. The scooter turned out beautifully, and the finish is absolutely immaculate. I did have a couple of small issues once I got it, but they were minor and easy enough to sort out. After going through the whole process myself, I have no hesitation recommending Brian and Scialla Motor Scooters. The scooter has exceeded my expectations, and I'm very happy with the purchase.”

James Carter

“The scooter arrived towards the end of December, so I haven't had a huge amount of time on it yet, but I've managed around 350 km so far and I'm really pleased with it. The ride is smooth and, to be honest, it feels more stable than my old P200. I can't fault Brian and the team when it comes to communication. They were always helpful and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The scooter gets attention everywhere I take it. People are constantly commenting on how good it looks, which is always nice. Registration was straightforward enough. Just make sure you have all the paperwork they send you and it's really not a difficult job. It arrived very well packed in a sturdy wooden crate, properly secured down. The toolbox had the spares, and they also included a cover, bulbs, spark plug, socket, cables, manual and all the relevant paperwork. I ordered a bench seat as well as the singles, my opinion the bench is better as the riding position is better. Also had indicators fitted which look brilliant. All in all so far am well impressed with build quality and finish fair play to Brian his scooters do exactly what he states they do. Looking forward to getting it run in.”

“I know there are a few negative comments out there, and I'll admit I had some doubts myself before placing an order. Having now bought my 1965 Lambretta, I can honestly say I'm absolutely delighted with it. She's even better than I expected. The restoration is lovely, she runs beautifully and she gets plenty of attention whenever I'm out on her. The scooter arrived extremely well packed and there wasn't a thing wrong with it. The whole experience has been very straightforward, and I've been nothing but pleased with Brian and the team. I'm a very happy customer and, if I'm honest, I'm already tempted to have another one!”

“Hello cycle folks. I bought a 1966 Lambretta SX200 from Brian at Scialla Motor Scooters. I'm a what you would call an enthusiast. If your just starting to ride or are an old hand you won't be disappointed. The quality of their work is the very fine. I can tell they enjoy the whole process. From conception to shipment. I love mine”

“Hi everyone in Vespa land! I've got the GP200 and it really is a proper head-turner. The 200cc engine with the sports exhaust makes it great fun to ride, it feels more like a little MotoGP machine than an old scooter! A big thanks to Brian and all the guys at Scialla Scooters. Everywhere I go, people stop and comment on it. I've had everything from ‘what a work of art' to people talking about the history behind it. It's pretty cool seeing how much attention it gets. Keep up the fantastic service, Brian and the team. I'm absolutely delighted with the scooter. Right, enough talking about it, time to get out and ride! Cheers everyone!”

“I bought a 1965 LI Special Lambretta from Brian, and the whole experience was very good. The scooter arrived when promised and, to be honest, it looked even better in person than I had expected. I'm very happy with the service from Brian and the team and would have no problem recommending Scialla Motor Scooters to others. Veldig fornøyd med både scooteren og servicen fra Brian. Kan absolutt anbefale Scialla Motor Scooters videre.”

“I've had my '67 SX200 for nearly a year now and it's been running faultlessly. Brian and the team did a really good job with the restoration from top to bottom, and I was kept well informed throughout the whole process. The scooter has been great to own and ride, and it's held up really well over the past year. I've been very happy with both the bike and the service I received from Scialla. I'd definitely recommend Brian and the team to anyone looking for a properly restored classic scooter.”

David Thompson

“Earlier this year I bought a Vespa Faro Basso from Brian at Scialla Motor Scooters. From the outset, Brian made the whole process very straightforward, including all the paperwork and import arrangements. I'm extremely pleased with the scooter. The standard of the restoration is excellent, and the finished bike is every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be. Buying a scooter from overseas can feel like a bit of a leap, but Brian made the whole experience much easier than I expected. I'd have no hesitation recommending him and Scialla Motor Scooters to anyone considering buying a restored scooter.”

Martin Edwards

“Brian and the team came highly recommended by a good friend, so I got in touch when I was looking for a Vespa 180SS. From my first enquiry right through to the scooter arriving, I honestly couldn't fault the service. Brian's a top bloke in my book. He was always quick to reply to my emails and was happy to answer all my questions, including a few that were probably a bit daft! The UK agents were excellent as well, so the whole process was much easier than I expected. If you're thinking about getting yourself a scooter, I'd definitely recommend giving Scialla a shout. I'm very happy with mine and don't think you'll be disappointed.”

“Hello to all vintage Vespa fans, I bought my blue 1964 VBB after visiting Brian in 2014. From the beginning I had a very good impression of him. He is reliable, very focused on the customer and kept everything as promised. I received the scooter together with the photos and information that had been agreed during the restoration. There was one small point that was mentioned by the German TÜV. It was nothing serious and I was able to have it corrected easily by my local mechanic. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the restoration and with the whole experience”

“I bought a restored 1965 VBB with a sidecar from Scialla Scooters about two years ago, and I've been very happy with it ever since. The restoration was beautifully done, and after two years the scooter is still running really well. It gets an incredible amount of attention wherever I take it, more than pretty much anything else I own! The whole buying process was straightforward and easy, and Brian and the team were great to deal with. I'd definitely recommend Scialla Scooters to anyone looking for a properly restored classic Vespa.”

“Recently bought a Lambretta TV175 from Scialla and I have to say the whole process was very straightforward. There were no problems at all with the import, and Brian was always quick to answer any questions I had. The collection here in the UK went smoothly as well. The shipping agents were very helpful and got back to me quickly whenever I needed to check anything. I've just had the scooter MOT'd and I'm now waiting for the new registration documents to come through. All in all, I'm a very happy customer. Thanks to Brian and everyone involved.”

“I'm now one year on from buying my 1968 150 Sprint from Scialla Motor Scooters, and I still have exactly the same feeling about it as I did the day I opened the crate. That's what bikes are all about for me. There's something about them that gives you a feeling, and this Vespa certainly has that effect on me. Scialla Scooters have also been incredibly supportive whenever I've had questions, particularly as I'm still very much a novice when it comes to these scooters. I also reckon Vespas have a bit of Mod DNA built into them. You start riding one and suddenly you feel the urge to put on a Fred Perry or some plaid! I ride my Vespa twice a week and every time I take it out it turns heads. People from eight years old right through to eighty seem to notice it, simply because these scooters are something very special. I'm really glad to be part of it and very happy to have my Vespa.”

“Vor vier Jahren habe ich zwei Vespas bei Brian gekauft. Mit einer davon habe ich inzwischen die 20.000 Kilometer erreicht und bin bis heute sehr zufrieden mit beiden Rollern. Auch der Service von Brian ist wirklich hervorragend. Wenn ich Fragen habe oder Unterstützung brauche, ist er immer sehr hilfsbereit. Nach vier Jahren kann ich sagen, dass ich mit den Vespas und dem gesamten Service sehr zufrieden bin.”

“I've bought both a Vespa VNB and a Lambretta TV200 from Brian, and I'm very pleased with the quality and finish of both scooters. Brian has always been happy to help whenever I've had a question, and one thing I particularly appreciate is how quickly he responds to emails. That makes a big difference when you're buying a scooter from overseas. Many thanks to Brian and the team, I'm very happy with both scooters.”

“I bought my LI2 about a year ago and I'm still absolutely delighted with it. It looks fantastic and runs really well, I honestly couldn't ask for much more. If I had the money, I'd probably be ordering another one! Brian is a top man and has always been really helpful whenever I've needed anything. Thanks again, Brian, and keep up the good work. Cheers, David from the UK”

“Over the years, a few friends and I have bought four Vespa and Lambretta scooters from Brian. We've all been very happy with them, and I've recommended Scialla Scooters to pretty much all of my friends. Even to the ones who normally couldn't care less about scooters or bikes! That probably says enough about how much we like what Brian and his team are doing.”
