Important information about purchasing, restoring, maintaining and claiming warranty service for a classic scooter from Scialla Motor Scooters.

By purchasing a scooter from Scialla Motor Scooters, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions relating to the scooter purchase, restoration, delivery and limited warranty.

Sales Policy

Before
you buy.

By this point, you are familiar with our restoration process. Please understand the following sales conditions before completing your purchase.

  • All Sales Are Final We do not accept returns on scooters.
  • Deposits Any deposit made for a scooter is non-refundable, including cases where the restoration process takes longer than initially estimated.
  • Shipping Issues Any damage, discrepancies or missing items during delivery must be reported directly to the shipping agent. Claims will only be accepted if they are documented at the time of delivery.
  • Condition of the Scooter You are purchasing a used, reconditioned classic two-stroke scooter. Some effort to operate and maintain a classic scooter is inherent to its age and condition. You are responsible for inspecting and making necessary adjustments before use, which may include cleaning the gas tank, adjusting carburetion or tightening bolts.
  • Liability Scialla Motor Scooters is not liable for costs associated with accidents or damage resulting from use of the scooter. You assume responsibility for safe operation of the scooter.
  • Parts & Expenses We will not cover the cost of parts, repairs or other expenses unless specifically approved by Scialla Motor Scooters in advance.
2 Year Limited Warranty
Limited Warranty

New parts are covered.
Classic parts are different.

Scialla Motor Scooters provides a two-year warranty on all new parts. If a covered new part is found to be defective during this period, we will replace the part at our expense.

Labor costs and other expenses related to replacement are not covered. Used or reconditioned parts are also excluded because their remaining service life cannot be predicted.

  • Crankshaft

  • Cylinders

Brakes

  • Calipers
  • Reservoirs

Exhaust

  • Muffler
  • Exhaust Pipe
  • Variable Exhaust Control

Chassis

  • Forks
  • Shocks
  • Swing Arm
Warranty Exclusions

What is
not covered.

  • Unlisted Components Any parts not specifically listed under Covered Components.
  • Normal Wear & Tear Tires, batteries, audio equipment, accessories and expendable maintenance items such as spark plugs, filters, belts and lubricants.
  • Engine & Main Frame The engine and main frame are excluded due to their age and inherent condition as classic used scooter components.
Warranty Claim Process

If something
goes wrong.

To initiate a warranty claim for a covered component, please contact Scialla Motor Scooters promptly. Do not begin repair work before receiving authorization from us.

  • 01 - Notify Scialla Scooters Contact us promptly when a suspected covered component failure occurs.
  • 02 - Wait for Authorization Repair work should not begin before Scialla Motor Scooters authorizes the work.
  • 03 - Inspection & Diagnosis We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle, determine the cause of failure and specify a service provider for repairs.
  • 04 - Replacement If we determine that a covered component has failed because of a mechanical defect, we will provide a replacement part free of charge.
  • What Is Not Included Installation costs, diagnosis and downtime during the repair process are not covered.
Forum, Venue & Jurisdiction

Governed by
Vietnamese law.

By purchasing a scooter from Scialla Motor Scooters, you agree that enforcement of this warranty and claims arising from it are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Legal actions related to this warranty must be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction within Vietnam.

Severability

One provision
does not void the rest.

If any provision of this warranty is deemed unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed and the remaining terms will continue in full force and effect. This does not affect other agreements between you and Scialla Motor Scooters, including the purchase agreement or financial obligations.
