Scialla Motor Scooters is a family-run vintage scooter business in Vietnam specializing in classic Italian Vespa and Lambretta scooters. We source, restore, rebuild and prepare classic scooters for collectors, enthusiasts and riders worldwide.

Our approach is simple: respect the scooter you started with, understand what it needs, and rebuild it properly. We care about the frame, the engine, the mechanics and the history behind every machine, not just how it looks after paint.

Every restoration begins with the scooter itself. At Scialla Motor Scooters, we restore classic Italian Vespa and Lambretta scooters by assessing the frame, engine, mechanical systems and overall condition before deciding what should be preserved, rebuilt or replaced.

The aim is not to erase the history of an old scooter or make every machine look the same. We work to preserve its character while bringing its structure, mechanics and essential systems back to a condition where it can be enjoyed on the road again.

The Process

What goes into
a proper restoration.

Frame & Body

The frame and bodywork are inspected for corrosion, damage and previous repairs before structural work, preparation and finishing begin.

Engine & Mechanics

The engine and mechanical components are assessed and rebuilt or serviced according to their condition, with attention to reliable road use.

Electrical System

Wiring, lighting, ignition and other electrical components are checked and restored or replaced where necessary.

Brakes & Suspension

Braking and suspension components are inspected, serviced and replaced where necessary to ensure the scooter is properly prepared for the road.

Assembly & Finish

Components are assembled, adjusted and finished with attention to both function and the character of the original machine.

Final Inspection

The completed scooter is inspected, tested and prepared for delivery before it leaves the workshop.

Original Identity Frame, engine and scooter history are treated as part of the restoration.
Mechanical Focus Restoration goes beyond appearance and addresses the systems that make the scooter work.
Road Ready The finished machine is prepared to be enjoyed, not simply displayed.

Buying With Scialla

Clear terms.
No surprises.

Buying a classic scooter is different from buying a new vehicle. We believe the terms should be clear before you make a purchase.

Our limited warranty covers qualifying new parts for two years. Because our scooters are classic, used and reconditioned machines, certain components, labor and other expenses are outside the scope of the warranty. Please review the complete warranty and sales terms before purchasing.

2-Year Warranty on New Parts

Qualifying new parts are covered by a 2-year warranty. If a covered new part is found to be defective during the warranty period, we will replace it at our expense.

All Sales Are Final

All scooter sales are final and deposits are non-refundable, including cases where the restoration process takes longer than initially estimated.

Clear Warranty Limits

Used or reconditioned parts are not covered. Labor, diagnosis, installation costs and other expenses related to warranty replacement are also excluded.
